People of all ages enjoy Acoustic Rock and Folk Rock. Music from the 60's to the present: The Allman Brothers, CSN&Y, Harry Chapin, Eric Clapton, Sam Cooke, Counting Crows, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Eagles, Extreme, The Grateful Dead, Tom Petty, Paul Simon, Soul Asylum, James Taylor, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and so many others.

Mark Gordon plays all this music and more. His steady rhythm playing, unexpected lead work and expert finger-picking combine with his singing to give a performance that is enjoyable and memorable.

Mark has performed at colleges, schools, parks, wineries and numerous clubs. He has opened for: Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane & Hot Tuna), The New Riders of the Purple Sage, Levon Helm (The Band), David Bromberg, Maria Mauldauer, John Stewart (The Kingston Trio), Commander Cody, Tom Paxton and The Guess Who.

When I perform, where appropriate, I put out copies of my play list and actively encourage requests.

Besides performing solo, I am available in the duo Gordon & Whitlow, and in an acoustic trio format with two acoustic guitars, bass and 3 part harmony.
